About this author

Mrs. Aviva Orlian has been a women’s Torah educator for the past 25 years, giving shiurim and lecturing for varied community-wide programming. In addition, she has taught a weekly Tehillim class, has presented for the OU Women’s Initiative and teaches a course on Megillas Eicha for the Women’s Institute of Torah-Baltimore (WITS). She finds tremendous fulfillment in combining text-based learning and analysis with relevant messages. Mrs. Orlian is also a full-time practicing speech-language pathologist. She is a graduate of Towson State University and earned her MS from Brooklyn College. Mrs. Orlian lives in Monsey, NY where she engages in her main role as wife, mother and grandmother.
