3,664. All the Kohanic Gifts

Hilchos Bikkurim 10:5

Hashem gave the kohanim terumah from which to make bread and wine, gifts from slaughtered animals and sacrifices for meat, the first shearings to make clothes, and income for other needs from the repayment of property stolen from a convert with no heirs, dedications, hereditary fields (if they were consecrated but not redeemed), and the redemption money of firstborns. These things were given to the kohanim because they weren’t given hereditary property in the land and they don’t receive a portion from the spoils of war.

Hilchos Bikkurim 10:6

If a sheep’s wool is red, black or brown, one must give the first shearings to a kohein. If the wool was dyed before being given to a kohein, it need no longer be given. If it was bleached before being given, one must put the wool aside after bleaching it. If someone pulls the wool out of the animals by hand instead of shearing them, he must still give the first shearings.
