Hilchos Shemittah v’Yoveil 5:7
Shemittah oil: may not be used to seal an oven or a stove; may not be rubbed on a shoe or a sandal; may not be handled with ritually unclean hands. If such oil spilled on a person’s skin, he may rub it in with ritually unclean hands. One may not anoint his foot while it’s in a shoe, but he may rub the oil on his foot and then put a shoe on. Similarly, one may anoint his whole body and then roll around on a new mat.
Hilchos Shemittah v’Yoveil 5:8
Lighting a lamp is as follows: One may light a lamp using actual shemittah oil. If someone sold shemittah oil and used the money to buy other oil, or if he traded shemittah oil for other oil, it may not be used for fuel. This is because we may not use the proceeds of shemittah produce for fuel (only for food). We may not put oil directly in a fire (which would be unusual); rather, one must light it in a lamp (i.e., in the normal manner).
